The scary qualifier finally ends with a happy result.
Not only being released from the "qualifying exam" jail, I also passed it with the second highest score!!
This outcome means a lot to me.
It feels great when you know clearly where you are going and what you want.
It feels even greater when you find yourself being pushed forward by your own hands.
The BDay party I had been planning turned out to have some unexpected incidents.
Even the rain sort of disappointed everyone,
I still had lots of fun playing with Jessica's daughter and seeing her enjoy the evening.
Derrick and Yufu were so sweet by offering to be the chefs of the night.
They used the yard swing umbrella to protect themselves from the rain (only barely though), and cooked all the food for everybody at the party!
How lucky I am to have a sweet brother and boyfriend like them!
Kung Fu Panda is a cute movie.
It made everybody in the theater laugh.
I enjoyed seeing movie with you.
It was a very relaxing and beautiful evening!
(That was also the first time I knew that even withough popcorn,
one can still enjoy the movie as long as s/he is with the right person XD)
Rubik's cube brought me back to the old days when dad was offering high prize to whoever was able to solve it.
I never completed once, not even close!
I can't imagine how people can solve it with their eyes covered.
Another toy Derrick got from one of his co-workers was even harder to solve since we had no idea how to relate our moves with the results.
I was playing around with it and trying my best to mess it up, which surprisingly caused some novel combinations Derrick had never tried before.
I guess "Think outside the box" does work!
MAN!!! I am so in love with the "LOST" series now!!
Surprises are in every second of the show;
curiosity makes your brain can't stop thinking and makes you can't stop watching.
You watch how peopole survive in an isolated island,
how to form a functional community to help each other,
and most importantly how to really let go of stuffs
that have been haunting them for a long time.
(Too bad that Derrick had only gotten to DVD2
and I can't share my feelings with him about the show
so that I don't leak the story XD)
Saying goodbye is always not sometihng pleasant!
I know you will come back soon
and I will learn how to say goodbye with smile next time!
